From Humble Beginnings

Warren County born and raised, our business, like most small businesses, started from humble beginnings. Our journey began several dog ages ago, when Cherrybrook was originally founded and grew to become one of America's most respected sources for products among pet professionals and groomers. Since October 2005, when Claudia and Roy Loomis purchased Cherrybrook, we have built upon that foundation. We have turned our focus and our experience to serving the needs of pet parents. Our success has enabled us to expand from one to six retail store locations with and focus on holistic wellness and nutrition for the pet community. As our stores continue to evolve and develop their own unique niche in the pet world, it was clear that our stores deserved their own brand identity - and thus, CB Pet Market was born.

As pet parents, and pet sport enthusiasts, our retail pet supply business, dedicated to nutrition education and wellness is where our passion lies. Our updated branding reflects what we provide to our retail store customers and our dedication to serving their pet's needs.

About Our Team

Our team members have solid, hands-on pet expertise, as groomers, breeders, handlers, trainers, and as experienced and passionate pet parents. With extensive product knowledge, and product training, our team is always happy to help you make the best choices for your pets. Our team members have pets and have used many of the products we offer in our stores, so they are able to provide first hand recommendations and practical advice.

CB Pet Market Stores & Nutritional Philosophy

Our CB Pet Market stores have a thoughtfully crafted selection of pet food in harmony with our nutritional philosophy that optimal nutrition is best achieved when pet our pet’s diets are free of corn, wheat, soy, by-products artificial coloring and chemical preservatives.

We specialize in pet foods containing natural ingredients, with named sources of protein, whole grains, and holistic ingredients. CB Pet Market offers a variety of quality grain inclusive and grain free choices; as well as raw frozen, freeze dried raw, gently cooked, and canned food options. In addition, we carry a comprehensive line of natural and organic supplements; when combined with a healthy diet will help ensure your pet lives a healthy, happy, and longer life.

Our stores are staffed with a team of pet owners and pet professionals who have years of pet nutrition training and experience, as well as years of pet parenting under their belts. We only offer carry the foods we feed our own pets.

Concierge

Cathy brings over a decade of customer service experience and a lifelong love for animals. . At CB Pet Market, she takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where both pets and their families feel supported and valued. Her greatest joys are her two dogs: Canela, a goofy, affectionate Boxer mix, and Pinta, an irresistibly sweet Dalmatian. When she's not caring for pets, she enjoys exploring new places, capturing moments through travel photography, and curling up with a good book. She's grateful to be part of the Martinsville salon's grooming team, turning every appointment into a moment of care, comfort, and trust for pets and their owners.

Sarah

Bather

Sarah started working as a bather in 2020 and immediately knew grooming would be her forever career. With previous experience at a doggy daycare, Sarah found her way to CB Pet Market in 2025. She prides herself on her ability to read body language and behavior. This skill, paired with her calm demeanor, helps dogs stay calm and go home feeling happy and loved. She has a black lab/hound mix and 2 kitties at home and truly has a love for all animals. She is excited to grow her skills to become a groomer and to work on all types of breeds, large and small!

Ariel

Salon Manager

Ariel is a highly experienced dog groomer at CB Pet Market. She wears two hats at CB Pet Market as our senior groomer and the Manager of our Martinsville and Livingston Grooming salons. Ariel joined CB Pet Market in 2019 and has been an indispensable asset ever since. Committed to honing her craft, Ariel stays up-to-date with the latest grooming techniques by attending seminars and classes regularly, in addition to being CPR certified for added safety measures.

Specializing in the popular Teddy Bear cut and favoring the Asian Fusion grooming technique, Ariel brings a unique flair to her work that sets her apart. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ariel shares her home with three cherished cats—Mr. Grey, Fatty, and Kat—and a gorgeous Siberian Husky named Sky, showcasing her deep love and understanding of animals. In her spare time, Ariel generously gives back to her community by volunteering at a local animal rescue in Morris County, embodying her passion for animal welfare and care.

Camille

Dog Groomer

Camille has a diverse professional background, having spent 25 years in the Financial Services industry focused on IT. However, after the events of 9/11, she made a career pivot towards dog grooming. Attending the North Jersey School of Dog Grooming in the spring of 2002, Camille immersed herself in this new field. Starting at a veterinarian's office and later a salon, she eventually branched out on her own. Camille began working for CBPM in 2011, helping out in our Garwood store. When CB Pet Market expanded to offering grooming services, it was only natural that Camille shifted to working in our salon!

Her foray into dog grooming opened doors to various other canine-related avenues, such as dog training, handling, and rescue. Currently, she not only owns and showcases Tibetan Terriers but also serves as the National Chairperson for Tibetan Terrier Rescue and an All Breed Rescue. Passionate about handling aggressive dogs, she specializes as a behaviorist, focusing on grooming senior and challenging dogs in a manner centered around "consent and cooperation."

In addition, Camille takes particular joy in training puppies to ensure their good behavior during grooming sessions. Her furry family includes six dogs: three Tibetan Terriers named Chi Chi Mama, Beau, and Maybelline, and three Dachshunds known as KC, Ricky, and Anna Banana.

Darlenny

GROOMER

Darlenny is a dedicated dog groomer and bather with years of valuable experience in the field. Starting her journey at CB Pet Market in 2022 as a bather, Darlenny has worked her way up to becoming a skilled groomer in 2024. After receiving her certificate from dog grooming school, and under the mentorship of Ariel, Darlenny quickly progressed from her role as a bather to becoming a skilled groomer, showcasing her dedication and passion for the craft. With Ariel's guidance and her own hard work, Darlenny has honed her grooming skills and become an integral part of the CB Pet Market team. She particularly enjoys using the Asian Fusion grooming technique, showcasing her passion for innovative styling methods.

In her leisure time, she shares her life with a Malshipoo named Stewie and selflessly rescues neighborhood cats, providing them with care and finding loving homes for these furry friends. Her commitment to animal welfare and calming demeanor shines through both in and out of the workplace, making her a compassionate and skilled professional in the grooming industry.

Lori

Retail Operations Manager

Lori works behind the scenes as Retail Operations Manager for all CB Pet Market locations. She is responsible for coordinating all of the many wonderful promotions we are able to offer our customers, among many other things! Lori began working with CB Pet Market in 2013 as a store associate and has grown with the company, working in a variety of positions since. She has been a lifetime pet owner, loving a multitude of pets, but currently shares her home with a senior Weimaraner mix named Gus-Gus, and 2 spunky kittens, long haired tuxedo cat named Gizmo, and a long haired domestic cat named Dipper.

Joselyn-Bather

Assistant Groomer

Joselyn joins CB Pet Market with CPR certification and a Dog Brusher/Bather course under her belt. A lifelong animal lover, she's cared for a variety of dogs and cats-both as pets and fosters-including her current Boston Terrier/Beagle mix, Romeo. With strong intuition for animal behavior, especially in anxious pets, Joselyn builds trust through patience and care. Her calm approach ensures each pet feels safe and comfortable. Passionate about animal well-being, she's excited to grow her skills and pursue a future as a groomer.

Kellie

General Manager

Kellie has spent her life caring for animals. Growing up with a menagerie of pets, working with veterinarians and shelters throughout school, Kellie was hesitant to leave the pet industry after she earned her teaching degree. After taking a 9-month cross country road trip with only her German Shepherd, Kellie realized that she was destined to remain working closely with dogs. She moved to Denver, CO in 2008 to open a doggie daycare and training facility with her best friend, which is highly successful today! A few years later, she returned home to NJ to start her family. It was then that Kellie branched out into the world of pet retail. She joined the CB Pet Market family in 2010, managing our Garwood store for its first 10 years of operation. As CB Pet Market grew, so did Kellie’s career with us, and since 2021 she has been our General Manager, overseeing the daily operations of all CBPM stores and grooming salons. Kellie can often be seen in any of our locations, and she loves interacting with the customers she has met over the years. She is passionate about animal rescue and is proud that all of her pets have come from a rescue situation. She and her family share their home with a white German Shepherd, Falkor and a Portuguese Podengo, Sir Piedmont Scrufflebottom (Scruffy), 2 cats, McFly and Teen Wolf, her daughter’s guinea pig, Burrito, her son’s 2 rats, Cheese Louise and City Rat, a White’s Tree Frog, Jabba, and an African clawed Frog, Zed!

Aleasha

Senior Accounting Associate

Aleasha works behind the scenes as CB Pet Market's Senior Accounting Associate. Aleasha has been a part of the CB Pet Market family since 2014. Outside of the office, she spends time with her adorable Border Collie/Black Lab best friend, Jester, exploring nature and practicing photography.

Claudia

Owner

With over 20 years of experience in the Pet Industry, and a lifetime of pet parenting, Claudia is the owner of the CB Pet Market stores and grooming salons. Claudia has numerous certifications in pet nutrition and wellness and has been named as a Leading Retail Pet Executive by Pet Insight Magazine 2 years in a row. She is a member of the Pet’s Plus Magazine Brain Squad and is actively involved with Indie Pets, an organization that advocates for and mentors fellow independent pet store owners. Regarded as an industry expert, Claudia is often called upon to provide her perspective and experience and is regularly featured in pet industry publications. Claudia works daily to improve the lives of pets and pet parents with her multiple award-winning CB Pet Market stores and salons. Her true passion is helping dogs live better and longer. When not working at CB Pet Market, Claudia is the leader of her pack of champion Samoyeds and actively participates in dog sports with Apollo and Juno! Claudia resides in Warren County, New Jersey with her husband Roy and is the proud mom of two adult children.

I recently adopted a German Shepherd and was referred to CB Pet Market for my dogs grooming. Not being sure of her temperament due to her being 5 and recently adopted I advised the staff. The staff was super understanding. Upon going to pick her up they advised me that my dog behaved super well and gave them no problems. I will definitely be back to bring my dog!
